Thanksgiving

As you can see our little one is growing up too fast, along with cousin, Anna Wells Brewer. Anna Wells is going to be a big sister in March. My how time flies.

Lily has a new nanny, Lynn, who likes to put her hair up in pigtails, or antenas, as some like to call them. There is one shot of her the night we got to Greenwood for Thanksgiving.

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are able to spend some time during this Christmas season with your families, as we are so fortunate to have.

Saints game

I know no one really wants to see pics of Joe and I, but....

we went to the Saints vs Panthers game Sunday afternoon in NOLA and had a blast. Many thanks to Jeremy Ory for putting together a really fun trip.

Nashville trip September 2009

Unlike my savvy sister-in-law, Jennie, I cannot make the pictures move nor make the words I type by them show up in the right spot when I post.

We spent the weekend in Nashville two weeks ago, early birthday visit with Miss AW, who as you can see has a little bit of her father in her with that grin that makes her eyes vanish!

Also, Grandmother Sally got to visit with all of her great-grands at Jackson and Lauren's home. In that pic you see: Hudson Ross, Lock Ross, Lucy Ross in Sally's lap then Anna Wells Brewer and Lily Johnson. They were all so cute.

In the mommy-baby photo we have Patience Ross holding Lauren's son Hudson (Lucy had retired for the evening), Lily and I, Lauren and Lock and Jennie and AW.

Then I managed to download an old photo of "the dogs" from Mom's house. Let's not forget they were the "babies" before there were any of these other babies. Maddie, Cole and Lucy Brewer.

Finally!

For those of you who thought I was gone forever...I have a new computer and I am going to download what I have put on this computer for your viewing pleasure. It is not because we're neglecting Lily, but that we are so consumed with her we haven't taken the time to update. I apologize and will do better.

Lily will be 7 months on Friday, and has long since outgrown the sleepy bunny. He does sleep in her bed, and she likes to snuggle with him.

The Senior Roast

I am starting to seriously consider the name Lily Joe! I was so embarrassed at first but honestly she looks just like him. He doesn't have a pink Cubs shirt, but he has Cubs shirts and they are just adorable watching baseball together. He brought her this back from our trip to Chicago.

4 months with the Sleepy Bunny, she is ready to take him.

Lily is 4 months old!

She weighs 14#9oz and is 26" long. 75% for height and weight!

She is smiling and talking (squalking!) all the time and I don't know how babies could get any better than a four month old. She eats, sleeps (9-11 hours at night) and is happy when awake and cannot move around yet.

What else could be better?

She still is a clone of her father as you can see, but some people say she makes some expressions like me...I know, I'm reaching. Here are some recent pics...

Graduation from Residency!!

Our little class of 5 finally made it! Here are two pics, the first was just prior to our long day of presenting our research, followed by lunch @ Walkers, bowling then onto the second photo which was our graduation party @ the Old Capitol Inn. We are all so glad to be done, but sad in a way. I will miss alot of great friends and a few great mentors. It is funny to think about how much time I have spent with my class and the residents over the last four years. Half of my life, and I slept during most of the hours I wasn't at hospital!

I am so excited for this new change and having time to do other things besides work, I hope Joseph and I like each other now that we are going to be spending so much more time together.

3 months!

These are just some random shots of me. Like the one of me napping with Papa Craig? I do. I like to take naps with people. As you can see none of my hair has fallen out and my eyes are still blue. I have to wear 6 month footed-pjs because I am so long! But I am sleeping through the night and all is good.

Happy Easter!

We've made it to six weeks and you all know what that means. Emily went back to work this week, and of course was on call this weekend, and the rest of the weekends in April. Joseph took his first 24 hour shift with Lily and we're pleased to say both are still alive. We went to church and then came home and Joseph cooked us a fabu meal of beef tenderloin, mashed taters and asparagus. Pretty good for a first time stay home Dad!
